Leo's Lavish Life | Black Rescue Cat | Chief Mouser

Meet Leo

Our black rescue cat Leo loves greeting guests as they arrive at the BW Boutique Hotel. When he’s not busy “protecting” the grounds, you might find him fishing in Knowles Creek or lounging in the gardens. Property manager Paige thinks he’s a tad overweight, but Sonya continues to reward Leo daily for all of his hard work with a fresh can—or 2—of tuna.  Guests of The Flat will find Leo proudly featured in an oil painting displayed inside. The piece, commissioned by a local artist, is a reminder that Leo’s likeness belongs in The Flat, but he does not. Leo tries to convince anyone who will listen that he should join them inside, so watch out for his charms. He lives in the loft above The Flat and try as he might, Leo is not allowed inside. He is crafty though, and we still get calls that our favorite feline has been spotted listening to tunes in the T. Willie Bar Room or trapping lint in the self-service laundry.  Leo’s favorite pastimes include attending weddings at the Bridgewalk Estate, bringing home alley cats who need love & shelter, riverboat watching at The Cottage, frequent naps in the bunk room at Northern Nights Chalet, traveling with Sonya,  partner at Wanderlust Abodes, and driving Holly crazy trying to “help” on big cleaning days.  We hope you LOVE Leo & his lavish life as much as we do!

Bringing the fun since 2006

Fast friends after a random meeting at a parent-teacher conference where the teacher declared, “You might be related some day Sonya, your son has a crush on Tanya's daughter." They were 3 :) and now at University. These powerhouse women, like many of you, have had their share of challenges in life. After a sudden death of a spouse & a divorce, Tanya and Sonya decided after many years of dreaming about going into business together, "Well why the hell not now?!" And with that, Onya Estates LLC was born May 2019. You will ALWAYS find—no matter what—Tanya & Sonya laughing loud & it's usually together.
